Don't waste your money - or time - going to the BakeHouse Bistro at Southpoint. You have to wait in line to place your order - 3 people in front of me and I waited 15 mins. to order just a smoothie because the 2 people behind the counter are SLOW , SLOW, SLOW. One of them kept apologizing because he couldn't figure out how to run the register....they received no training? This is a sandwich shop, not a 4-star restaurant , so we expected time frames like our local deli . BIG mistake. Our party of 3 ordered independently of each other - 2 orders of sandwiches took 20 mins. to come out of the kitchen and my smoothie took 13 mins(yes, we were getting frustrated and timed it) - and there were not many people in the place. I don't think they have enough kitchen help(or maybe they're as slow as the counter help) and they only had 1 waitperson delivering meals. The food delivered wasn't what was ordered - omitted some from one dish, added others to second.. The line thinned, got brave, ordered dessert,(ice cream on a brownie) waited another 15 mins. then had to find the manager to get it out of the kitchen(counter people said couldn't help with that). The food is ordinary (luncheon meat on white bread with chips and a pickle) and is not worth what you have to go through to get it. Eat somehwere else and save yourself the frustration.
