I've been stopping in at Voleur for dining, visiting, drinking, joining friends, and bringing guests for the past two years. I was horrified to see someone characterize one of Portland's best-kept secret hideaways as ""homophobic."" On the contrary, all sorts of people congregate at Voleur, their major commonality being a desire to enjoy good times and good company and good food. There is definitely no phobia of any type here, be you young or old, tattooed or not, straight or gay. Welcoming of diversity is what Voleur is. Even the cultural and social variety of the staff itself bespeaks this philosophy.
