Entering Blue Ribbon, our first impression was ""it's such a tiny place!"" (it seats about 10) The place offers the typical BBQ fairs like ribs, pull pork, chicken, beef brisket. We ordered Half Rib Platter ($14) and Beef Brisket Platter ($10) and each platter comes with a big corn bread and two sides. The Beef Brisket was tender, fatty, and juicy. The BBQ sauce provided on the side at the store was so-so, as it didn't add anything to the flavor of the meat. It was a lot of Beef Brisket. On the hand, the Half Rib was really not a lot of meat. Going in I was hoping for some falling-off-the-bond type of rib meat, but it was just ""not tough"". In any case, the meat was flavorful and I enjoyed it. It was probably the best BBQ I have had in Boston, but it really cannot compare to what I used to have down in Atlanta.
Pros: good food
Cons: hours
