I was told to come at 6 because my cat would take longer to dry. I came at 10 til 6 to find out they closed early! I had to call the police to get my cat back (she's on meds) THEN the lady wanted to charge me extra for it! When I complained about this on craigslist an ex employee contacted me and told me that they do that often so that they can charge people an overnight fee of $20. She said that one time a lady had called to tell her that she was only 5 minutes away and the manager told her to lock the door and lock her out. She said that most people just go ahead and pay the fees, which is crazy!\r

I have also heard from an ex employee that witnessed them hitting leashed cocker spaniels in the face, drying the animals in wire bottomed cages OUTSIDE, NOT giving the animals water or food from 6pm-6am (even when the animal has medical instructions), that they do not take the dogs out for exercise even if they are paid extra. The ex employee said that the facility is NOT under 24 hour care and the proof is that they do not let a person pick up or drop off over the weekend or after hours. This is why they had to call an employee from El Cajon to get my cat out. The place also smells and they have a large dog that is lose behind the counter, he jumped at my cat which terrified her. AVOID this place AT ALL COSTS! I have heard that dogs have even died in their care.
