With all due respect, I honestly don't know what the reviewer before me was thinking! My husband and I absolutely love to go to Connolly's (we dine out quite often and have tried almost every place in Cary and the surrounding areas) and our food is always wonderful! He always gets the ruben, saying it is the best he's ever had anywhere, hands down. I've tried almost everything on the menu. The only thing I didn't care for was the beer-cheese soup, but I think that was just a matter of preference and the fact that I don't really like beer. The bread they serve before your meal is outstanding and I've never had anything like it before, very unique! \r
I think the atmosphere is great too! They just finished renovating the new dining room and it's very nice - intimate and nicely decorated. The dining area is completely seperate from the bar area, which is nice when you're eating with your family or want a nice ""sit-down"" dinner"". On certain nights there is live music in the bar area, but you can hear it from the dining room.
Pros: service, food, location, atmosphere
Cons: limited menu not good for picky eaters
