What a day! Unforgetable. We took my boat out to celebrate my birthday. Along the Intracoastal we turned into the Dania Beach Marina and docked on the public floating docks. Just across the parking we entered the Beach Watch Restaurant, which is brand new opened February. Friendly nice greeting at the lobby and prompt seating on the Porch, passing all the lined up wndow tables with incredible view over beach and ocean, North to Pier 66 Ft. Lauderdale and South to Hollywood and Hallendale with the Westin Hotel Diplomat. The beach was not crowded but still nice bikini girls and families with kids enjoyed their time. Sitting on the Porch with the waves of the ocean underneath, incredible view far out watching the big ships in and out ot the Port Everglades - even the majestic big Cruise Ships and also watching the fishermen if lucky or not to catch a fish. We had a very nice waiter, very politely and professional and enjoyed the fresh catch of the day, Mahi Mahi we saw delivering from a fisherman to the restaurant. It took some time but they cooked it right for us. We loved the Lamb Osso Bucco and the Appetizer Bahamian Conch Fritters and Coconut Shrimp. We also liked the very economic wine list and chosed Cabernet Dynamite for $ 23. The dessert was award winning Key Lime Pie and Bergian Chocolate Brandy Cace - delicious. Full but not wanting to leave we also consumed a Beach Watch Cosmo Martini, Pina Colada Frozen Drink from Island Oasis and Coffee from Starbucks corporation. From West Patio you can watch the sunset from the East Patio the moonrise. You know, we felt like being on a big cruise ship but on land as this is build and as it is operated. You are in this area you need to have a peak there it is all the miles worth. We will be back as soon as possible and try out the other goodies they have to offer.
