Complete lack of accountability 7/27/2007

Back in July 2007, my shirts were missing at Dutch Girls, and when they were found and returned to me, the missed shirts were pressed but stuck with many dots of dust as if they had been thrown on the floor. I had a bad experience communicating with a 50 something year old clerk there, and due to a lack of accountable person at the store, it took a while to get them to re-do the job. Finally, as a token of apology, Dutch Girls did not charge me for those missed shirts. Hence, I kept using their services. But, in February 2008, one of my shirts was missing and Roger, a self-claimed store manager called me to tell me that he would reimburse the cost of the shirt if I gave him my credit card receipt. After I search it, I could not locate a two months' old receipt. I called back and left a message for Roger that I wanted to discuss other remedies for the missing shirts because I did not find a receipt. I have not heard anything from Roger or anybody else since then. I gave up. I had used several laundry shops in San Francisco for over 12 years, but none of them had lost my shirt. Dutch Girls' complete lack of accountability turned me off. I stopped going back sine then. If you like a thrill of losing your clothes, go for Dutch Girls. more
