I've been coming to Tako Sushi for about 10 years now ever since it opened. It has recently changed management, chefs, staff, etc. It was a pretty good place for all this time, good portions, decent sushi for the price, great brunch special, and tasty salad dressing. After the change, my bff and I came to Tako twice and twice have been very disappointed. The fish was average quality before...now they use day old fish. The eel has a rough rubbery texture instead of a melt in your mouth texture. The rice is mushy and overcooked and lacks that vinegar taste in sushi rice. The tea is no longer quthentic green tea but cheap chinese tea. And the famous salad dressing is watered down. Good place before but it seems management decided to sell out to some people just care about profit margin and not about keeping an impressive clientle after all these years. Thumbs down :-(
Pros: Average priced
Cons: Bad quality in food
