a cousin of mine had a book signing and wine tasting here which spilled over into dinner for the stragglers. She asked the chef to arrange a tasting menu for us (his choice) and I had one of the most memorable meals of my life. The plates came individually, not family style like traditional Indian food, and there were 5 courses, including shrimp, fish and lamb. One person was taking notes and photos of each dish as it arrived and I wish I had too becasue I couldn't tell you the preparations but the flavors were sublime, so many different tastes unfolding on the tongue and all the different wines we had only enhanced the food.
I don't know what the regular food is like but don't go here expecting traditional Indian food. Bring a sense of adventure and your wallet. The meal set us back $80/p.p. (inc. tax+tip; excl. wine) but definitely worth it for a special occasion. Everyone raved about it.
Pros: tasting menu, staff, location
Cons: parking
