The name Havahart used to assure healthy animals, however nowadays you cannot look around the store without finding countless dead fish and lizards in the displays. As if that were not repulsive enough, they have very little selection when it comes to small animals food and supplies. I have even found expired products on their shelves. To top that all off, on my most recent visit - early on a weekday aka when business is slowest - it took employees at least fifteen minutes to even bother asking if I needed help because they were too busy complaining loudly to one another about the employee who had closed the night before. When I finally caught someone's attention, the woman had difficulty answering my questions, was rude/insulting, and acted as though I was wasting her time. I have a number of animals and spend countless dollars on them each year, dollars that Havahart will never see again.
