I must admit, this was my first time trying real Indian cuisine. Feeling adventurous, and highly recommended by my co workers I indulged in a fun and pleasurable exploration of taste at Royal India an Exquisite Indian cuisine and cocktails in the Gaslamp area of San Diego located at 329 Market street, a place that definitely lived up to its name Royal. The Curry was not Americanized but authentic which is unique which makes the taste and quality really good. Large restaurant was about half full when we arrived there on thursday night. We parked on 2nd avenue parking lot which is just two blocks and walking distance from Royal India and paid $5 parking fee. We were greeted and seated by hostess and immediately server filled up our glass of water.
