Pretty Good 2/27/2011

Quite simply some of the best Indian food I have ever tasted and that's saying something because I love Indian food. Unique ethnic ambiance and decor. Lunch buffet is really good deal for $12. Everything tasted so good but my favorite dish for the night was the "Chicken Masala" SO GOOOD! more

Royal India serve Maharajas food 4/2/2010

A groom arrived on an elephant and it was San Diego's best Indian wedding ever and Royal India's food made it even better. This was my second time for Royal India's food. What a lovely experience. more

Perfect Anniversary dinner at Royal India. 4/28/2009

I love Indian food and I have been to almost all the Indian restaurants in San Diego. My friends gave us Royal India gift certificates on our anniversary so we went to Royal India on our anniversary and made reservation ahead of time by e mail. Beautiful hostess sat us inside on a nice table. Server almost arrived immediately and brought champagne on the house ( that was a nice start ). We ordered Vegetable samosa and it was crispy and flavorful with mint chutney. We had Chicken garlic kabab which was served on a sizzling platter and lamb coconut curry that came with basmati rice and we ordered garlic Nan bread. All in all Royal India serve the best Indian food in San Diego. more

I am always pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere at Royal India. A gal I dated claimed to dislike Indian food-- I took her here and he changed her mind! They even provide a small complimentary dessert at the end of your meal. more

A royal treat 8/20/2007

I took my friends visiting from San Francisco to Royal India over the weekend and we had a fantastic dinner... We tried the restaurant and we were impressed by both the food and the wine selection. I highly recommend this new restaurant. Service was friendly and very helpful and you can tell that they do not compromise with quality. I would recommend Royal India to any foodie and anyone who wants to enjoy a great dinner !! more
