Do you want overpriced ineffective work? This is the place. My Dual 1229 Changer was taken to this outfit on 1/14/06 with the complaint, as noted in their words, "" will not turn on---skipping [the needle]"" On 2/2506, along with a bill for $152.32, it was returned with the notation ""Disasembled to locate and repair several seized bearings and bushings. Cleaned mech. as needed..."" A little over one year later, on 5/03/07, it was returned to them with their notation ""needle does not index properly, at times needle does not track..."" SAME AS PREVIOUS PROBLEM. The previous work was brought to their attention, the surely counterman noted that. After a short 50 days, it was returned along with a bill for $152.46 with the notation, ""cleaning [did it really need cleaning after 1 year?], lubricate parts, mechanical adjustment [did it really need adjusting and lubing after they did that one year previously?] disassembled to clean and lube as needed [what was needed after one year?] ..."" Oh, and it should be noted that this changer that was completely worked over by them one year earlier was used less that five hours in the intervening year. So for $304.78 they may possibly have stopped the needle from skipping---no parts just their intense labor. And, yes to Jeff, a prior reviewer, they will screw a return customer and even charge 14 cents more for the screwing the second time around. If you like either your wallet, your equipment or your self respect----Don't ever go the Precision Audio and Video Service!!!
