The ambience is nice and cozy and the lighting is very dim and relaxing. The furniture and decor really feel like you're in Japan and there are curtains hanging near some of the booths for privacy. The sushi is very fresh and creative upon being served. The choices of sushi are plenty and the tempura is very good along with the dipping sauce. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. I would suggest making reservations in the evening and weekends. It's located in a very convenient shopping center in Scottsdale with the movies nearby. There is a window where the cooks prepare the food and it's fun to watch as I did on my way to the restrooms.
Pros: lots of parking, ambience a plus and great sushi
Cons: may need reservations on weekends just to be safe
