Everytime I have gone to a Firestone tires I have been hit by a sales pitch that usually goes something like this: "We can't just sell you a new tire or even two new tires since it would be unsafe to send your car out on the road with one or more worn tires combined with new, unworn tires. So you really need to buy a whole set of tires in order to be completely safe."\r
Then they sold me 4 $34.00 tires which ended up costing over $265.00 once you add up all the hidden "fees", balancing, stems, etc... Then they have the nerve to sell you a tire repair and replacement warranty (which places like Les Schwab will give you for free). When I went in to this Firestone the other day to redeem my warranty for a tire that got a hole in the sidewall they refused to put a new tire on my car since the cheapest tire they had in stock was supposedly $65. So instead of eating the cost of not having their store properly stocked in tires of all pricepoints - they demanded that I head back out on the road
