August is adorable! I'd only been to August for brunch - which i'm addicted to - and I decided to try it for dinner this past Thursday with an out of town friend. We had such a lovely time, and I'm so glad I finally did it. The food was scrumptious, - we started with an outrageous bacon and onion flatbread tart that was out of this world. We shared the rabbit (they have another name for it on the menu, I can't remember what it was called ) and the trout - which was like a sandwich with vegetables and melon inbetween 2 pieces of trout - wow!! we are chocoholics we we couldn't pass up their chocolate creme dessert- we had such a great time and our waiter made excellent food and wine recommendations - i had to be rolled out, but i have a new addiction!
Pros: food, service, wood-burning oven
