You always hear about the bad but never about the good. For some reason the bad about people is always more interesting to talk about. I saw Dr. Eisenbud for my diabetes and he was wonderful. He got my sugars under control and I even lost 50 pounds. He was aware that I didn't have insurance at the time when I first saw him so he told me to try to get insurance before he ordered the test he needed done. I thought that was very nice of him to think of. Paying out of of pocket for tests can be very pricey. I got on my wife's insurance and got all my tests done. I was able to call in or fax my sugar readings to him without having to go in for an appointment every time. When I did go in for appointments I didn't have to wait long periods of time to be seen, he was always on time, unlike other doctors I've seen. I was prescribed a medicine that needed a prior authorization through my insurance but he gave me samples to get me by until the insurance approved it. My pharmacy notified the office and the staff started the process to get the prior authorization for me. The staff was helpful and pleasant. When I was referred to the office they told me that I had to have my primary care doctor fax over my records, they told me that this needed to be done so that the doctor could review my records and make sure I needed to see him. I felt that was thoughtful not to waste my time and money and the insurance's money on a visit that was not needed. Overall I had a wonderful experience with this office and will continue to go back. I would also highly recommend anyone I knew who had a diabetic problem to see him. He seems to know his stuff!!
Pros: on time, knowledgeable, states the facts doesn't dance around the problem
Cons: could have better parking
