My Primary Care Physician's Office sent him repeated referrals for an appointment. Each time I called his office, the staff claimed that they did not receive them. I finally offered to hand-carry a referral. Surprise! they found it!!\r

I finally saw Dr. Eisenbud got appointment , and obtained a prescription requiring a prior authoriization. My pharmacy sent repeated faxes (gave me copies - I was present when they sent it!). I called his office. His staff recommended I go to a different pharmacy as my pharmacy was irresponsible and did not follow up. \r

I called my pharmacy again to follow up. Dr. Eisenbud's office took no responsibility for anything. No apologies; everything was something else' fault. They are curt and short with callers. \r

I have written an e-mail to my primary care physician requesting a referral to another endocrinologist. It does no good to get a referral and then have no results.
Cons: No follow-up; Staff is not responsible
