I don't have alot of wedding experience and I've not visited alot of bridal salons since my engagement. In fact, New Natalies was the 3rd salon that I visited (May 2007). I live out of state but a friend recommended New Natalies; someone else told her about it. I read the reviews here and was cautious (actually concerned) that I would have a bad experience despite the report of lots of dresses from which to choose. I'm very particular about how customer service should go. MOST so-called service providers don't get it right. NEW NATALIE'S DOES CUSTOMER SERVICE. We made an appointment. I would guess that makes a HUGE difference. When we arrived, there were a number of brides-to-be waiting for opening (which was a few minutes late), but once we got in the door, we were asked who had an appointment. Two of 5 of us did. Initially, my friend and I wandered through dresses, but after a few minutes, our expert (Maria) came along. She was phenomenal. I appreciated her reserved honesty. I didn't love the dresses that I tried on and she wasn't at all pushy as I'd experienced in one other setting. She made suggestions (e.g., you don't need the slip with this one) and offered ideas and incorporated my preferences (short train, strapless, etc). After I'd tried on several dresses, she returned with one that she thought I might not like but that would look amazing on me. She was right. To top it all off, my dream dress was $399 + tax. Every once and I while, I peek at it in the closet. I love it more and more with each minute that passes. I'm an impatient person who never thought she'd find the right dress for the right price. I'm grateful for New Natalies' and will suggest it to all of my friends and family. (But more likely, the dress will speak for itself)
Pros: Phenomenal prices, Very nice selection
Cons: Can get crowded (we were there on Saturday a.m.)
