We took my sister in law who was visiting from Australia, thinking it was the ultimate brunch place in the city, but we were quite disappointed. The back room is really lovely, particularly on a sunny day like Sunday when we were there, but the service was the main let down. The waitress looked really tired and she kept forgetting things... I think she forgot to put our order through to the kitchen, as we waited for a while and about 35 minutes after she took our order, she suddenly looked at our table and run to the kitchen, which is when I think she realized she forgot to put it through... When the food came eventually, it was average. The egg dishes that my husband and his sister had were decent, but my burger was really quite bad. The fries were really greasy and overcooked, and the meat was disappointing. \r
Icing on the cake, I don't know if it is always like that, but the place was really really smoky, and we all smelled so smoky that rather than having a nice stroll in the village after our brunch as initially planned, we all went back home to have a shower and get changed!! I will not go back.
