My fiance and I went this weekend and enjoyed a nice evening. We LOVED Carmines here so the BYOB theme idea continued in the same location seemed like a good idea. We started off with the Warm Goat Cheese salad was almost the best I have ever had... the goat cheese rounds were generous with a nice thin crunchy crust. The dressing was bit light which kept it from the #1 salad award. We also had the sweet potato pancakes... basically tasted like smashed sweet potatoes...great smashed potatoes but not quite a potato pancake. I had the fish special and my fiance had the Duck for our entrees .The duck was very good but he said it was very similar to the duck he has had a few times before at Carmines. My fish special was solid but not out of this world and the bread pudding dessert was just as everyone else has said... divine! Unfortunately, the service was quite slow... especially after we finished our meal. I think this place has great potential and perhaps I would try it out again in a year but there are a few kinks to be worked out... Good luck Margot!
