I had heard a lot of good things about Steuben's but my husband and I live in the 'burbs and just don't make it downtown too often, however we recently went downtown on a Friday morning for business and decided to check out Steuben's and I' m so glad we did!!! The food is fantastic and I love the retro diner feel. We were seated immediately and we were served promptly and the server was very friendly and attentive. I had the pulled pork sandwich (Yum!) and fries and my husband had the fried chicken which I tasted. The food was excellent. I dipped my fries in his gravy, to die for!!! You can order gravy fries as an appetizer but we chose the deviled eggs and they were delicious!!! This is comfort food to the max!!! I have not been there in the evening but I am hoping to come back for dinner sometime in the near future. The only downside was I had a Mimosa and it was pretty expensive for the size of the drink. Also I can see where parking could be a major issue here. We got a parking place just fine, but it wasn't that busy when we got there. When we left the parking lot was full. Otherwise, I hope Steuben's will be around for a long time to come. It is awesome!
Pros: Awesome comfort food, great ambience, attentive waitstaff
Cons: Parking and drinks a little pricey
