When I first heard about Minado, I was skeptical. Sushi is best when very fresh, and buffets usually don't have high quality and fresh ingredients. This place was great. All the sushi was surprisingly fresh. Some selections are better than others in terms of sushi, and I found the rolls were somewhat lacking as was the sashimi. However, the nigiri was excellent. I was surprised to find exotic selections (such as baby fried crab, conch, baby squid) in the nigiri. The hot food is great too, be sure to try the custom made udon. However, the cold salads, although creative, were not particularly good. Minado is a bit pricy, but for the quality of the food it's worth it, especially for a buffet. My sushi eating would have cost much more than the $25 Minado charges at a restaurant.
Pros: Selection, Most of the Sushi, Hot Food, Service
Cons: Salads
