I would absolutely recommend David's Fish Market. I think that the prices are fair (considering you get what you pay for...hey if you want OK seafood, go to Shaws just up the road) and you are pretty much guaranteed to get the best and freshest seafood available. I know of nowhere else in the Newburyport area where you can get better seafood, and I have been living in this area for well over 25 years. There is o doubt in my mind that David's is the place to go for seafood!!
Pros: Prices are fair, Product is ALWAYS fresh
Cons: Sometimes, the staff can be a bit rushed and not deliver their best customer service, but the product and price compensate for that
