Salum was great. For a last minute impromptu Saturday night dining out, the team at Salum had no problem accommodating us. We were left hanging for a minute, once we were seated. But when our server finally did make it over to our table he more than made up for his tardiness. We started with wine and cocktails paired with the watercress and watermelon salad. It was divine, and a perfect starter to split. Next up was the beef tenderloin with Yukon mashed potatoes and mushroom bur Blanc sauce, it was cooked to perfection, and the beef flavor was not compromised in the dish. The proscuitto wrapped halibut with tomato coulis and black lentils was phenomenal. We finished with the apple berry crisp a la mode - we added a scoop of vanilla bean gelato. After that, we were singing the praised of Salum. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for this diamond in the rough.
