On vacation in FL we had a Saturday night dinner at Maxwell?s. The food was very good. We had reservations and showed up a couple of minutes early. There was no need to show up early, the restaurant was very packed and we ended up waiting for a half an hour for our table. We hung out at the bar since there were no stools available, and decided that we did not want to eat in the same room as the bar due to the crowded situation and people being forced to hover near tables. Luckily we were seated at a table in another dining room which was much quieter and more spacious. We all ordered appetizers, then steaks and each of us ordered a side. In the end it was way too much food. My suggestion would be to order your sides in moderation; each side was more than enough for two people. The only thing that we ordered that we did not receive was the baked potato, which we ended up canceling due to all the food in front of us. The table was also large enough to handle all of the plates of food. Each of our aged steak was cooked to perfection and very tasty. We also ordered a couple of desserts which were very delicious. Overall the food and atmosphere were excellent, and would definitely return.
