We had to drive like 1 hr from downtown to reach the place. They mention it as being open till 11pm on fridays. We reached at 10:47 pm and though there were a few people still eating / sitting inside, the staff simply refused to take us in.
Also, the manner in which they spoke to us was pretty bad. The front desk reception is pretty uncooperative and unfriendly. (I hope the owner is reading this...).They simply wanted to go home early.Though, some of the waiters are fine. A couple of months earlier, in a similar situation, the staff had been pretty helpful. But, now the people have changed.
The food was actually pretty good. But of late, the chili contents in some dishes has been very inconsistent. One of my friends had a dish which had unhumanly levels of chili within it (which he had ordered only mild spicy). Also, the level of free oil hanging around in their dishes is pretty becoming high. Nevertheless, I think I will still go to hot wok again, because i am a huge fan of "indian chinese" food. Too bad though, there is no choice for that nearby. If you are just looking to have a good time, I would recommend other options.
Pros: only restaurant I know which serves "indian chinese" food
Cons: Bad service, Uncooperative staff
