My husband and I are certified BBQ judges and have been to the Smokey Bones in Fenton on numerous occasions. Arrive early - abundant crowds at peak times, though we've never waited more than 20 minutes. My favorite is the pulled pork, great serving size and I always get the tender/crisp green beans and slaw ( give the big hunk of texas toast to my hubby). You've gotta try all 3 sauces that are always on the table. I didn't know I liked the Carolina mustard style until I tried it ! Hubby and his friend always get the full slab of ribs so they'll have a few leftover ribs for a late night snack. Monthly beer specials and lots of variety . Never been able to make it to desert but I hear those little fried doughnut thingys are great.
