After reading rave reviews of Four Square, we booked an early V Day dinner. The hostess, who turned out to be the owner, was extremely rude, hanging up on us on the phone when we called to tell her we ran into traffic and were running a few minutes late. Our tables was given away, and we were seated in a drafty, creaky, extremely bright area upstairs near the bussing station with absolutely no ambiance. Even more upsetting was that the couple who came in 10 seconds ahead of us were seated at a lovely table downstairs. The menu was rather odd that night, food mediocre. Though our server was kind, the owner's rudeness tinged our whole experience, and we will certainly never return to this overpriced, snotty restaurant.
