The VIllage Pub is simply excellent. If you want to be confident of a great meal on an important night, this is the place. They make their own charcuterie- a must try. Reservations are a good idea. The one problem I have had is sitting at the bar on a cold evening- every time the door opens, there is a large rush of frigid air; make reservations and you will not have a problem. One of the few places that really is worth a rather high price.
