We used to go to Sushiland all the time after they remodeled several years ago. The quality of fish was good, they added variety and kept the price what it used to be ($1.00, $1.50, $2.00, $3.00 plates). It might not have the best sushi you would ever have but it was good and it was a really good deal for the money. However, something happened to Sushiland lately. Last several times we went, the freshness of the food just wasn't there, salmon was cut paper-thin, and variety just wasn't there. It was same plates going around. Other people must have noticed that quality went downhill as well because there were hardly any customers there during peak lunch hour last Friday. Previously, you always had to wait. This happened to us last 3-4 times and we kept coming back with hopes. I asked the gal that works there if they had any changes and she said that they had change in management. Whatever they are doing, is not working too well. I think I will give them another shot in about 6 months or so.
