We moved to Silverlake a few months ago and being the foodie that he is, my b.f. quickly found the best breakfast spot in the neighborhood. Having lived in this area before, I've tried most of the other Sunset eateries and while their food is generally pretty good, the wait time, lack of friendly service, and patrons more interested in being seen (and heard) than enjoying a mellow morning make the experience generally unpleasant. Not Alegria.
Pros: great service, great food
