Birchwood Kennels is absolutely an unacceptable place to leave your pets. I have a lot of experience boarding my dogs and I'm most displeased with this kennel. I experienced overly rude and unprofessional service (namely the Proprietor Kari Conner) that lied about the care of my pets. We brought in our own dog food, measured for the exact length of stay plus 1 extra feeding for ea. dog in case of delay so that I would be assured they were fed properly. When we picked them up, I was given back a container with the same amount of food I had left them with. When Kari was informed that they were not feed the correct food, she became argumentative and rude, insisting that she fed them herself (this was obviously untrue as I have 2 large dogs that consume 8 cups of food per day and the container I left them with was just big enough for their 7 day stay). I also paid to have both dogs groomed the day before I picked them up. I could tell they'd been bathed but one dog's nails had not been tri
