Fountain City Animal Hospital is a great organization as long as you let them do all the work, by that I mean charge you outragious prices like for instance a vaccination. They charge approximately $50 for the basic vaccine that you can go to the co-op and purchase for $5 to $7. If you dont like to give shots then that is fine let them do it. I enjoy the bond that I feel with my animal by taking more involvement in that process so early in our relationship. Well once you the FCAH know you are doing this they become rude and indignant. I understand that they will be missing out on a 200% markup on the shot and visit but we are not all made of money and should not be chastized for having to be a little frugal. I tried on several occasions to buy my heart worm pills from them but they refused to sell them to me because my dog is a Great Dane and he was growing so fast. Ever since March when I told them that I was going to do the vaccines myself they have been rude and uncooperative, so much so that I have since switched to another vet. Again today I had to call them and ask a routine simple question and I am switched to another person and bam rudeness and unprofessionalism. I would recommend Broadway Veterinary Clinic if you live in the Fountain City area.
Pros: convenient location
Cons: the whole operation
