I chose Cobalt Blue about a month after I had moved from Cedar Park closer to downtown to be near my job. I walked in without an appointment, and although they didn't have any available stylists in the salon at the moment, they happily offered to call one who lived nearby to cut my hair. Turns out, it was MATT, who agreed to come in for an appointment. He is an absolutely amazing hair stylist--I can't believe how lucky I got! \r

Matt is the man with the plan--for your hair! He talked at length with me about my hair, the shape of my face, and what I wanted in a cut and color. Over the past year, he has created hair for me that I am thrilled with. Matt is always up to date on the latest styles and trends and wants to make sure you get the best look possible. \r

Always personable, friendly and accommodating--each member of their team has always greeted and treated me like a special customer. I love that they are so personal--it inspires loyalty with their customers. I have been able to refer several people to Matt, and now I have friends with great hair! :-) The move to William Cannon makes it a longer drive for me, but it is still well worth it--a great hairstylist is hard to find!
Pros: Friendly, professional staff. Fun, relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: New location is a bit of a drive for some (but lucky for folks in South Austin!)
