As a past customer of Lana's, I can say that it is all in what you are looking for. Lana's has been around for years and is run by Lana herself, and her daughter. If you are looking for a dance team that is focused on learning ""routines"", with very beautiful but VERY expensive costumes, Lana's is perfect. The program focuses on very traditional tap and jazz, with large group, ""Rockette like"" dance routines. This program is perfect for aspiring cheerleaders. Additional things to think about, Lana's is known to have a very political and sometimes negative environment for both parents and dancers :(\r

If you are looking to focus more on variety of dance and proper technique training without the flash, make-up and glitz, you might be better looking elsewhere. There are many dance programs which offer performance opportunities & fabulous training in the south bay area.
Pros: Beautiful costumes, lots of glitz, perfect for aspiring cheerleaders and Rocketts
Cons: Little variety in dance styles, poor technique training, political environment and expensive
