I was quoted it would take them approximately 3.5 hours to do the entire move. They informed us they would be there at 8:00am, didn't show until close to 10am. It took the driver over 2 hours (!!!) to attempt to back the truck into the loading dock. Meanwhile the one guy who was actually good was emptying the apartment down to the loading dock. But the dock guy couldn't load the truck since the driver was still backing it in. They only had 2 wardrobe boxes when I was promised 4 free. When they finally did get the truck loaded, it took them over 3 hours to make the 2.5 mile drive to my new apartment. I had called their dispatch office 3 times in this period, each time they told me the truck was around the corner. The new building was getting concerned since they had another move scheduled right after mine and my timeframe was already expired.
When the truck did finally arrive, I impatiently asked them how long they really needed to stop for lunch and they claimed that they didn't stop for it. They hastilly unloaded the truck: they did not cover any of my furniture: my couch arrived with scrapes along the top fabric, my mattresses (one-year old) arrived with numerous grease spots and 10 holes in the boxspring. My wood furniture was knicked and dirty. They scratched my glass tables by placing them on top of each other to bring them into the building. They acted inconvenienced when I requested they move the furniture to where I actually wanted it to go. Despite all of my labels on boxes and "This side up" warnings, I found many items damaged and broken and in the wrong rooms.
When it came time to pay them, they wanted over $1200 for moving a 1 bedroom apartment that took them over 8 hours in addition to a tip. Luckily, their offices were still open and we disputed down to $800 and when they left, we issued a stop payment with the credit card company. 5 months later, I am still battling with them to get my claim resolved. Avoid them at ALL costs!
Pros: not much at all
Cons: everything
