The Vox is attracting an interesting crowd - very young for a Back Bay restaurant. Upstairs, the service was terrible. The waiter was a bit rude and acted like we were a bother. The food was terrible. We have made our last trip to this restaurant. Our waiter recommended the steak with frites ""one of the better dishes with great sauce"" - when the meal arrived everything was cold and the steak texture was ""rubbery"" - the sauce - tasted like greece and water. The chicken dish came with all dark meat and tasted terrible. When the waiter asked how the meal was, we explained how disapointed we were etc. He then continued to ask if we wanted to take home the meal... And.. to top it off, he charged us for it. We are highly disapointed in the service and quality of our meals and we hope that as the Vox promotes and takes pride in their ""drink menus and nightlife"" - that as a Boston Back Bay restaurant, they start to take pride in their meals and the quality of their food as well. We will never recommend this restaurant until they plan to improve.
