Having lived in Chicago for a number of years, and also New York and Boston for 10 years, I have to say Boston's italian district is the benchmark for pizza. New York also has better pie. I agree that this place isn't authentic Chicago style pie, and to quote Martha Stewart, ""that's a good thing"" Hell, Conan's pizza is better than just about anything I've found in Chicago. Giordano's is the only Chicago pizza place that is truly worth the trip. That place kicks everyone's butt. Mangia is A+ one time and C- the next. It lacks consistency, but when the chefs bring their ""A"" game it's def very good pie
Pros: Great pizza some of the time
Cons: average pizza some of the time
