Caffe Primo is not the kind of place you go to if you are looking for a simple cup of joe. It's a trendy place full of marble counter tops and orange European cappucino machines. Still, a cup of coffee costs $1.50, which is cheaper than most cafes. That is, unless the cashier screws up and charges you tax, like I had happen to me today. She feebily responded that ""it must be the new machines."" I guess their employees don't understand how our tax system works with to-go/grocery items. The java is robust and delicious though. To top of the chi-chi atmosphere, they sell muffin tops. Thats right, the tops of muffins. They kind of look like cookies. And the kicker is you are charged for the entire muffin. I'm tempted to ask what they do with the rest of the pastry...
