While service was good and atmosphere excellent, the food disappointed.
Bread served with the cheese platter was spongy and tasteless. A 5 minute drive to any artisan bakery would have been a dramatic improvement. Then there was the tapa with white anchovies. Small tip .. the anchovies should not still be frosty when I bite into them. Finally the tomatos on the mozzarella was absolutely tasteless. Not even identifiable as a tomato unless you happened to see the red when you put in on your fork.
However .. the rest of the food was outstanding. The lamb was savoury, and the chickpeas with chicken dish was piping hot and excellent.
Over all erratic, though with a little more attention to detail it could be back on track.
