I'm guessing the reviewer jengrace has never worked in the restaurant industry by her judgement of service! I've been to Steuben's several times and when our server is taking a ""long time,"" I see him/her running around to other tables making sure everything is okay and taking care of business, not just standing around! They are working hard to take care of everyone, including your table. Understand that in a busy restaurant like this, they are not slacking off, they are trying to take care of several tables at once - especially on the patio, which is sat almost all at once!\r

I find the service awesome - the servers are so helpful and have personality! The hosts are a pretty sight to the eyes, the bussers are prompt and courteous, and the barstaff is fabulous too! The food is awesome, to say it lightly. The Monte Cristo is one of the best in the city, and the Maine Lobster Roll cannot even be described in words. Mmm. You have to try this - but definatly make reservations for a larger party! Seating up front by 17th ave is my favorite, but every single place I've sat is perfectly comfortable.
