Dark Room filled with red lanterns, oriental ceilings, comfy low leather seats and chinese quilted pillows, this place is worth a visit. From the outside it looks like nothing special, but once through the mysterious door, you enter into a world of pure imagination. Thumbs up to this place's interior decorator. The ultra-white bartenders and youthful crowd do give a gentle reminder that you are in Hollywood not oldtime Shanghai. Order "a Double" from their Chinese inspired fancy drinks menu, it comes in a bigger glass with more liquor for about $10. Hollywood prices, but no pressure, no silly "are you on the list" nonsense. Better Cleaner atmosphere than Formosa Cafe.
Pros: Atmosphere, People watching
