I live a short walk from Beechwood and make regular visits. I've only eaten in the dining room once, where the food was good, but the room was loud. The real place to be is the bar/patio. It's classy but low-key, with a great menu - love the pulled pork. I've never had trouble with service, although it doesn't qualify as anything better than average. Wine and drinks are reasonable. All in all, its a great place to bring people and hang-out, away from the more touristy area near the beach.
Pros: Food, ambiance
Cons: so-so service
