We dined at Clarke's with our wine group. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, the wine was so so and over priced and the most difficult part was trying to speak over the noise. Yes, we expressed our heartfelt concerns to our server, but they did not have any other place for us to move to that was quieter; their only attempt was to ""let us know the sound proofing panels were on order"". We left early because we could not even talk without screaming across the table to hear one another. Also, the food was not what we were lead to believe. We had 4 of the 7-8 starters and most of the entrees between our large table and only 2:8 starters and 3 entrees were rated above average. Mostly ""overcooked"" was the main complaint, improper temperature (cold) and basically thrown together for presentation. Out table spent over $2k that night and it was the worst evening we have ever spent. Clarke's lost our business forever.
