This is one of my favorite places for sushi in LA. It is set in a beautiful Japanese style tea house behind an incredible world art gallery/boutique. The sushi divine, also freshly prepared and inspiring. The sushi chefs dish out a lot of their own special dishes. For example, chef Jose dishes a delicous seared tuna sashimi with heated blend of jalepeno and spices. I reecommend watching and ordering with the regulars. The garden is simply enchanting and intimate and the perfect place to go to catch up with a best friend or to impress a date.
Pros: ambience, freshest sushi, innovative dishes
Cons: disinterested staff, difficult parking
