I was called out of town on a last-minute business trip and had to find my dog a boarding kennel fast. Bensenville Animal Hospital was on the way to the airport, so I took my dog there for the duration. The exterior was a bit unkempt - overgrown, unattended parkway landscaping, litter strewn lot., a chunk of broken concrete propping the front door open. The reception was fairly clean and didn't smell that bad. I dropped off my dog with the very young person who seemed to be in charge, and hoped for the best. When I got back I dropped in to pick up my dog. The office was closed, but the dogs were all barking themselves hoarse in an outside pen in the back - and it was freezing that night! Some neighborhood kids (there are apartment buildings just a few feet away!) told me the dogs are left outside for long periods day and night.
