I recently had a problem with my Kirby vacuum and brought it into A1 Vacuum and Sewing. They gave me a free estimate, which stated that the gears on my transmission were broken and it would cost $220 to fix. They recommended that I not fix it, but instead trade it in for one of their vacuums. I did neither. \r

Instead, I brought it to the new Kirby store down the street (which I did not notice previously) and got an estimate from them. For the price of a tune-up, they fixed my problem (which was not a broken transmission). I also replaced the wheels and the cord and my total bill was less than $100. I am just grateful I did not fall for A1's lies.
PROS: none
CONS: misdiagnosed my vacuum problem
