I first heard about Spencer's in an in-flight magazine on Delta where the Salt Lake location was rated in the top ten in the nation. I gave it a try and was extremely surprised by how underwhelmed I was. It made much sense later when I discovered the ""top ten"" list was simply an advertisement the companies paid to be on. This made me feel much better about life. If you want to go somewhere and impress whoever you're with about the amount of money you're spending I would recommend Spencer's, if you want them to be impressed with the food then don't go anywhere near Spencer's. The meat is certified Prime but oddly lacks any flavor, could they be cheating and not using the beef they claim to? I highly doubt it, but then again I wouldn't think anyone would pay to be listed on a top ten list either.
Pros: Attentive Service
Cons: Overpriced, Prime Steaks lack flavor
