My husband and I went to Fogao Gaucho by accident (a long story) but we figured we would give it a try, how bad could it be? Answer- very bad.
First sign that things were not quite right an empty restaurant (only 3 tables) on a Fri. night at 7:15. The salad bar was tiny with nothing really great to offer. But the real disappointment was the meat - every single piece was well done. How is that even possible? Not a pink piece in sight!!! The gauchos knives were not even sharp enough to cut the meat. I wont even talk about the fish except yuck. I would mention the sides, but there wasnt any. The waiters forgot them.
The meal was so bad we couldnt help but laugh about it. The only reason we paid was because we felt so bad for the staff
Pros: Not crowded
Cons: over cooked meat, expensive
